He Said: Age...just a number?

We all know that people scoff at relationships like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's because he is significantly younger than her. Another Hollywood couple, Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, are in the same boat, you wouldn't know it, but Tim is 12 years younger than Susan. Is it weird to think about the fact that when Susan Sarandon was at her Senior Prom that her future lover was just turning six, and probably in bed dreaming of dinosaurs? Sure it is. But age is just a number.
The media has been blaming Hollywood for this trend of older women marrying younger men, but I know a few older women who have always had an eye for younger meat. In an AARP poll in 2003, 34 percent of all women were dating younger men. These women are so lovingly referred to as "cougars."
Growing up in an age of media, we are constantly reminded of these types of women through movies, television, radio, and news. Just to name a few examples, you've got "Stacy's Mom" from Fountains of Wayne, "Stifler's Mom" played by Jennifer Coolidge in the "American Pie" movies.
Men find it extremely attractive when an older woman is comfortable with her sexuality. We just find it insanely sexy when an older woman can still recognize that there is a cat inside her ready to pounce at any moment.
It's no secret that younger men like older women from time to time, we just haven't given them their time of day properly yet because some men feel intimidated by an older woman.
My advice for that is: just let things happen. As long as you're making love and not war, there's really no difference.
