Design students take main stage in gallery

Sacred Heart University's Student Art Exhibition opened March 16, running from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., and will inhabit the university's art gallery until April 16. "Every art student works very hard because we want to be the best. As you can see there are so many talented people at SHU and it is an honor to have your work in the gallery.

Freedom Concert rocks for Iranian justice

Ever wonder what it would be like to not have that freedom? To have to do exactly what your government or other leaders tell you to? For Iranians this is not a hypothetical situation. It is a reality. On Monday at 8 p.m. in the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts, the Freedom Concert is scheduled to raise awareness about the people of Iran's daily fight for that precious ideal: freedom.

The Society of Illustrators of New York Student Scholarship Competition awarded three Sacred Heart University students for their talented artwork. Francisco Flores, Leigh Koger, and Ryan Mauro were three out of 130 amazing artists whose pieces were selected out of 5,683 entries from 88 national institutions.
