Last Thursday, tickets went on sale in Hawley lounge to see T-Pain and Ne-Yo in concert at Sacred Heart.

"We were hoping to sell between 1500-2000 tickets," said junior Kelly Daley.

In case students did not buy a ticket on Thursday, Daley suggested students visit the school's online ticket seller at www.shutickets.com, or visit the student life office.

T-Pain is a Tallahassee-based MC and vocalist who become popular within the last five years.

He debuted as a solo R&B artist after he recorded "I'm F**ked Up," a personal take on Akon's top ten hit "Locked Up." Akon heard the track and signed T-Pain to a contract on his Jive-distributed Konvict Muzik label.

He has collaborated with some of the music industries best artists; Akon, Chris Brown and Kanye West.

Ne-Yo is a songwriter, arranger and vocalist who was born in Arkansas but raised in Las Vegas.

Some of his songs include "Because of You," "Make Me Better" and "Sexy Love."

Both artists are known for putting on great, live performances because of their energy and dedication to their work.

"I think it's a great idea to have T-Pain and Ne-Yo come to SHU," said junior Ashley Stearns. "We've had hip-hop and rock artists come so far, so it's a nice variety to mix it up every year."

Two years ago the Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls and Flipside rocked out the Pitt.

"I think that concert two years ago was awesome but I think that T-Pain and Ne-Yo will be great too," said junior Katie Schlosser.

Make sure to get your ticket to the hottest concert of the spring here at Sacred Heart and check out T-Pain and Ne-Yo live on April 11 at the Pitt center.
