"It's all because of SHU" that headlining artists T-Pain and Ne-Yo are the 2008 spring concert.

"Many students requested R&B, hip hop or rap for the concert this year, so we did the best that we could to facilitate that," said Associate Dean of Students Denise ?Tiberio.

Vice president of SET, senior Kelly Linskey said the Sacred Heart community helped finding shows that appeal to most students.?

"I can not wait for this concert and I had no? idea that we were able to get two huge performers like Ne-Yo and T-Pain," said sophomore Wayne Morgan.

Although there is a long road ahead planning the concert for SET members, the hype of the concert is apparent in their demeanors.

"I think students should expect a fantastic concert, there is a lot of buzz. Ne-Yo and T-Pain are both very popular...it will most certainly be entertaining," said Linskey.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, Feb. 21; from 7 a.m. to 7?p.m. for $20 only on this day, and $35 starting Feb. 22. The concert is on April 11; get tickets because they will sell out fast.
