He Said: Break or Fake?

Most people in relationships cringe at the word 'break.' It could denote the meaning that the relationship is on hold for the moment, or it could mean that the relationship is flat out done with. Obviously there will be pain and healing involved with the latter half, but is taking a break from a relationship really such a bad thing?
As human beings we naturally get bored by the same surroundings, it's in our nature. That's why every year new and exciting things come out to keep us entertained. We have a constant need for new things. Why should a relationship be any different?
It shouldn't, and I'll tell you why. When you see couples that have been together for long periods of time it is clear to see that they change things up in their relationship to keep it constantly moving forward. In any form of relationship, forward is where you should aim to go.
When the traveling forward seems to stall out, you may need to take a sidestep and take a break. In my eyes, breaks are only a positive to any relationship.
The important thing to remember is that a break should be used to your advantage. See how the relationship makes you feel and if it is healthy or not. If changes need to be made, don't get scared, just make note of them so when you get back together, you have something to work on.
Sometimes, when worst comes to worst, the break is really what opens your eyes to why you need to break up for good. If you find that you're happier on the break than when you are normally together, that's a pretty good indication that this relationship needs to end. Worry about yourself sometimes - I promise it's a good thing.
