Brotherhood, dedication and a never ending list of priorities as Vice President of Greek Life; junior Dave Rabinowitz has a full plate of responsibility.

Only halfway through his first year as Student Government Vice President for Greek Life, Rabinowitz has loved every moment of being involved with a frat and bringing Greek Life to the student body.

"My favorite part about being in the frat is the brotherhood of all the guys. I also meet new people every day through my brothers," said Rabinowitz.

Working hard as a Bio major with the hopes of becoming a neurosurgeon and also being involved in other organizations on campus including playing for both JV lacrosse and fencing teams; Greek Life has been the most significant aspect of his college experience.

As vice president, Rabinowitz is responsible for running e-board meetings, working with student government and building a stronger Greek community on campus. Although a lot to handle at times, all these duties seem well worth the time and patience the job brings to the table for Rabinowitz.

"The job entails holding Greek senate meetings where all nine organizations have representation and I also oversee all activities and events held by Greek life," said Rabinowitz.

Along with planning their own events, especially with the start of the 2008 spring RUSH week, Rabinowitz has also been collaborating with other student groups to expose Greek Life in a positive way to the student body. Recently, Greek Life co-sponsored the THINK FAST event along side the Student Events Team.

"I believe the way Dave carries himself reinforces the importance of his fraternal values. Dave is a great role model for his peers," said Sanders.

"He is committed to his academic course work, understands the value of community service, and explores opportunities to further develop his leadership skills."

Rabinowitz¹s dedication and pride to Greek life shows through not only his actions as a leader but also how others view him in a leadership role.
