Add a little holiday cheer to your day and make the most of it by celebrating each of the 25 days of Christmas. My guide to the ultimate holiday season will give you plenty to do this December.
Dec. 1: Watch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on NBC at 8 p.m.
Dec. 2: Put the finishing touches on your Christmas list and email it to your friends and family.
Dec. 3: Decorate your dorm with fun decorations. Party City on Black Rock Turnpike is sure to have what you need to get your room looking festive.
Dec. 4: Organize a "Secret Santa" with your roommates. Set a price limit and exchange gifts before everyone heads home for the holidays.
Dec. 5: It's easy to forget it, but Christmas isn't the only holiday this December. Today is the first day of Hanukkah.
Dec. 6: Go to your local tree farm and cut down your own Christmas tree. Bring ropes to fasten it safely to the roof of your car. When you get home, find the perfect spot in your house to place it.
Dec. 7: Pick an ornament off a giving tree at your local school or church. The best part of the holiday season is giving back to those who are less forunate.
Dec. 8: Make your own Christmas cards and send them to all of your friends. Go to Marthastewart.com for creative card ideas and more.
Dec. 9: Take time to remember what Christmas is truly about. If you don't already do so, consider attending Mass in the University Commons.
Dec. 10: Finals start tomorrow. Grab a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha or Gingerbread Latte and get ready to hit the books.
Dec. 11: Pets need presents too! Make sure to add a gift for that special dog in your life to your list. Go to www.juicycouture.com and check out their brand new line of dog clothes and accessories that are guaranteed to make your dog the star of any Christmas party.
Dec. 12: Take a walk or drive around with your friends and look at all of the houses decked out with Christmas lights and decorations.
Dec. 13: If you're over 21, invite your friends over and make Gingerbread Martinis. Mix one shot vanilla vodka, 1 shot hazelnut flavored liquor, one shot butterscotch Schnapps, and four ounces of ginger beer. Garnish with a gingerbread cookie and enjoy! These are sure to relieve some of that finals week stress. (Recipe courtesy of the Food Network).
