What makes someone a catch? Could it be that killer smile or that winning sense of humor? It is a combination of personality and physical traits to make someone a catch.
This isn't to say that you can't meet someone at a bar or when you go out, but it is probably less likely for your prince charming to be sitting at the Page. When you find them you'll know. Be yourself no matter what. Don't change your interests or beliefs to be more like someone you think you like. You want them to like you for you not the fake you. Keep your options open no matter what sometimes people can really surprise you.
You can't just go out looking for them, it's not like shopping for shoes, and if you set your expectations too high you are bound to be disappointed. Also don't let a pretty face distract you from someone's true personality otherwise you could wind up with a Pete Doherty clone.
I suppose the saying you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince makes logical sense although you will probably have to kiss more than a few frogs.
Having a good sense of humor is what really draws me in, I am constantly cracking jokes and I am rather sarcastic so I need someone to keep up with my humor. Anyone who can make me laugh is worth while.
How someone treats their friends is a good example of how they will treat you in a relationship, you don't want someone who walks all over their friends but someone who treats everyone as their equal.
