A little piece of Italy, a little piece of heaven.
For my 21st birthday dinner, my boyfriend wanted to find the most romantic place to celebrate my big day. He chose Quattro Pazzi, which is located on 1599 Post Road in Fairfield.
Quattro Pazzi is a very quaint Italian restaurant with no more than 15 tables inside. Unfortunately, reservations are not accepted so the wait may be long. There is a bar located in the back, so those of you who are of age may enjoy a cocktail while waiting.
The picturesque walls surrounding your table depicted a scene from Venice, and the wait staff even spoke with an Italian accent. I immediately felt like I as walking into a café a world away from Fairfield.
It was mainly candlelit tables for two throughout the restaurant.
The size was small, so at times it felt crowded. Luckily, the couple sitting at the table next to us was very friendly.
The extensive menu offered different kinds of pasta, chicken and fish. The prices range from about $16 to $28 and the portions for the meals are large.
The wine list is even longer, offering a variety of reds and whites, ranging from $35 up to $125. Although this could be very expensive, they also sell wine by the glass for a cheaper option.
When all was said and done, the service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Quattro Pazzi for any couple that is looking to go out for an anniversary, birthday, or just simply a romantic evening for two. Until next week, happy dining.
