Finding healthy food can be a challenge for students when away at college. FLIK looks to help with the addition of a new chef and a healthier attitude in the kitchen. It is undoubtedly frustrating when your class schedule keeps you on campus for most of the day without the proper break needed to catch breakfast, lunch or dinner without the felling of being rushed.
Days go by slowly in this country. After the slew of guests, and spring break adventures, I found myself in the ultimate slump. Seven days of rain washed away all of the sunshine of the previous weeks. For the first time, I wanted my four months vacation to be over.
Over the Easter holiday on April 5th the Sacred Heart chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, celebrated the twentieth anniversary of receiving their charter. Dr. Christina Taylor of the psychology department started the Sacred Heart chapter in 1987.
The Sacred Heart University dance team hosted a dance exhibition on April 1 in the Pitt Center for family, friends, and fellow supporters. (23 words) The dance team will be attending the Division I Dance College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Have lunch and enjoy presentations from other countries. This is the opportunity offered by the International Lunch Series, with people coming from countries like India, China, Egypt, the Caribbean, and Japan. "It is a way that we can be exposed to different cultures and have lunch, mostly because people have busy schedules, this way they can be educated and entertained while they have lunch," said Karima Ummah, Coordinator of International/Multicultural Affairs.
