But if you look around, you notice the population isn't all that vast, and it's slim pickin's. On any given day you awkwardly see your ex's walking around, and then you see your ex's ex's. It's at this point, some people wonder, when going to a school of such a small size, is it possible to get jealous?
I think not. Let's face it, while going to a school of such small caliber for four years, at some point you realize, everyone hooks up with everyone.
Maybe you don't know someone who hooked up with the guy that lived upstairs from you freshman year, but you know who's hooked up with his roommate, and you may be part of that roster.
And your roommate, well they're another story. You know that they hooked up with that guy you had civilizations class with, and then at a party you saw him all over another girl, and she happened to be in your French class.
Small world, isn't it?
The truth is, no matter where you go, you're going to run into people that you don't want to see. They may be people who you've hooked up with, they may be those who are currently dating your ex's, or they may be the girl who exposed herself at the bar the other night. Whenever, wherever these awkward occurrences happen, and no matter how awkward it may be, its easiest just to say to yourself, "been there, done that, and it wasn't that good anyway."
Most of these irrational decisions and hook-ups happen while under the influence anyway, no need to get jealous about something you weren't all that interested in to begin with. Your senses were dulled, and the spirits had taken over.
It all comes down to this; at Sacred Heart, we all share the same belt, and we all have the same amount of notches.
