Lisa Blackman, a spiritual medium, counselor, essayist, poet and the founder of Torchlight, an Intuitive Consultation Service and Lifelong Learning Center created to sustain the growth of the Human Spirit, has been gifted with clairvoyance and clairsentience.
She has been using these gifts for the past 13 years to lend a hand to people in the aperture and evolvement of their souls by helping them to see their spiritual capabilities and to be acquainted with their God-Self.
She also works with those people who suffer from sorrow by bringing them cures, comprehension and connection with their loved ones.
"Lisa is a deeply gifted, spiritual and love-filled individual with a unique capacity to see through to the heart and soul of one's current challenges. She helps us glimpse at the true inner essence of any issue and shows us how to move forward by revealing honestly and courageously what the soul desires," said Kathy Caprino, a Life Coach, Westport, who assisted the Women's Images Conference.
Blackman relies on love and compassion to heal and convert all wounded into optimistic act, intention and meaning.
She refers to the Dalai Lama when it comes to love and compassion, thus "Love and Compassion are necessities not luxuries."
Besides, she does believe that our situations in life, our relationships, and our symptoms of mind and body help us on our own spiritual journey.
"Everyone has the ability and desire, consciously or not, to become enlightened, and as we evolve, we dissolve our egos, shine in our holiness and fulfill our destinies," said Blackman.
She also points out that, all of us are predestined to do something; every one of us has a reason to be in this world.
"Wherever you end up, it's all predestined. If you are born to do something, you will do it," said Blackman.
"You are not missing the boat, you are the boat," Blackman said.
Blackman has recently published a book called "Spirit Life, Ecstatic Poetry and Prayers," which is an assortment of inspirational writings. This book is a manifestation of her passage, which reflects the spiritual journey, and potential of others. These writings are inspiring, motivational and devoting which often refocus the readers to the presence of and into their own mirror image of the Divine.
