Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen. MTV's Real World is coming to Sacred Heart University. That is right, Ace from Real World Paris will be here helping out.
First, let me ask you a few questions. Do you think you've got what it takes to be on TV? Do you have enough personality to fill a whole auditorium? Have you ever pictured yourself interacting with 6 strangers? If so, then you're in luck.
On April 25, MTV will be holding auditions for the Real World at Sacred Heart University. But before audtions there will be a seminar on what it is like to live in the "Real World."
If for some reason you cannot audition that night, and you are between the ages of 18 and 24, you can mail a 5-10 minute video tape about yourself to

For those of you that can make the audition, it would probably be a wise idea to show up on time. No latter than 8 pm.
"I'd be like that guy Brad from the San Diego cast, I could only imagine the stuff they would have to edit if I auditioned..." said Brian Fama, a sophomore from Stormville, NY
This audition is based on reality TV. Therefore, you don't have to act. Just be yourself. MTV is always looking for interesting people with diverse backgrounds.
"I think it's hot! I've always wanted to try out for something like this just because it looks like fun. I'm shocked that MTV is holding auditions here at SHU considering that fact that it's extremely small compared to most college campuses. I'd actually love to be on TV. I'll definitely be there keeping my fingers crossed. It should be a good experience at the very least." said Richard Ebert a sophomore from East Northport, NY.
"It's good to hear that MTV would come to a smaller school like Sacred Heart. Even though we aren't a giant university, we have a lot of diverse and colorful people who would make great additions to the Real World" said Albert Fera, a senior from Providence, Rhode Island.
"I happen to be impressed by the fact that they chose SHU as a place to find people. I thought they held auditions on larger campuses. Right now I'm really looking forward to auditioning. It should be interesting." said Nicholas H.M. Silivanch, a sophomore from Wilmington, North Carolina
Auditions start at 8p.m. and will run until 10 p.m. at the Edgerton for Performing Arts Center. There's one tiny catch, you must be a fulltime undergrad in order to participate. Good luck to everyone !
